Rishikesh is a city a municipal council and also a tassel in the Dehradun district of the Uttarakhand. Located on the foothills of the Himalayas in the northern India, it is also known as the 'Gateway to the Garhwal the Himalayas and 'th Yoga Capital of the World'.
